Time and again I get called into sites where another engineer had not done his job well or at all in some cases. I was taught in the Army biomed school to treat every system as if your Mother will be the next patient and it still lives with me today. In fact not only has my Mother been on my machines; my wife and children have too. This is a great field with lots of freedoms, but it is a deadly serious one also.
