Last night I had the pleasure of doing some guest lecturing over at American River College. The CMIA set up a clinical engineering class several years ago and I have been one of the lecturers since the start. Every year I see a whole new batch of students of all age ranges. Some are just there for the credit, but some really are interested in this field. I always come early and stay late because those students have questions that I help answer. We covered a lot of ground from general X-Ray to MRI. I brought in several props so the students could actually handle an X-Ray tube anode or Nuclear Camera PMT. Thank you once again to the CMIA and American River College for keeping this program alive. I hope to see some of these students out in the field someday.
